This month the Hut is buzzing with new activity!

A long awaited trip to Belize is underway.   Thanks to Ronnie and Nils for the change of venue from Little Cayman to South Caicos.  Little Cayman is still uncomfortable opening due to low vaccine percentages.  They are protecting their islanders.  Good for them!

The August 5th USA Dive Club general meeting will be held at The Hampton Inn located at 720 East Cypress Creek Road,  Fort Lauderdale, 33334.  You may still join us on ZOOM.  I will be sharing trip information via ZOOM as well.

Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

The Fourth of July is right around the corner.  It's time to celebrate another "Happy Birthday" to America. Let's hope the sky is glittered with beautiful fireworks.  

Alan Feuerman is working on several fun ZOOM social events. If you had not yet had the chance to join us, please try and do so. We really do have lots of laughs.

Your BoD is working diligently to secure a new meeting place for general club meetings. The after COVID market is a difficult one as I am sure you all are seeing. 

Many of us are still concerned with is ongoing virus.  Please stay safe and don't let your guard down.  I agree with the former Yankee catcher, Yogi Berra, "It ain't over till it's over."

Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

We are getting closer and closer to returning to our new "normal". Now we are facing moving forward with or without masks. That is the question!! Fans of The Karate Kid can hear Sensei Miyagi utter to Daniel-san..."Mask on, mask off".  Choose wisely.

Trips are filing up and divers are getting ready to embark on the first trips since we returned from FIJI in March 2020.  These are exciting times.

When we will be able to meet again is still uncertain, but rest assured that day will come. 

Until we meet again, please get the vaccination when you are eligible and encourage your loved ones to do the same.  Most of all, please stay safe.

                     HAPPY ANNIVERSARY USA DIVE CLUB!

THE UNDER SEA ADVENTURERS DIVE CLUB IS CELEBRATING IT’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAR!!!  WE ARE GOLDEN!

Unfortunately, COVID is still here, but the good news is more and more people are eligible to receive the vaccine and are doing so.

I know we are all looking forward to getting back to some form of "normal." Won't it be wonderful to fill a boat for a local dive and be able to enjoy the company of our friends!? Please continue to stay safe.

Howdy From The Hospitality Hut,

First I would like to thank Alan Feuerman, our Social VP, for a fun-filled night of "Two Truths and A Lie."  Those in attendance learned lots of interesting facts we have hidden in our past.  As LT would say, "If you missed, you missed it!!

Second, Julie has NOT cut her hair.

As we get closer to being vaccinated, our club is moving ahead with trips and other cool social events.  

Also keep in mind 2021 is the 50th anniversary of the Under Sea Adventurers Dive Club!

           UNDER SEA ADVENTURERS DIVE CLUB IS CELEBRATING IT’S 

                                50TH ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAR!!!

YES, my fellow club members, it's true. 2021 is the GOLDEN Anniversary year of our club.

There isn’t any club news I have to share, but I am sure that will change in the future,

News is getting better, however we are still not out of the woods.  

Many have been able to get 1 or 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.  I will be happy when all ages are able to make appointments to be vaccinated.

In the meantime, stay safe in your “bubbles”….ahhhh bubbles. Bubbles used to have an totally different meaning to divers!

Salutations From The Hospitality Hut,

                   UNDER SEA ADVENTURERS DIVE CLUB

        IS CELEBRATING IT’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAR!!!

YES, my fellow club members, it's true. 2021 is the GOLDEN Anniversary year of our club.

Ten years ago, Julie and Russ Manhold and yours truly planned the 40th Anniversary Party at Ellies' 50's Diner in the Flamingo Ballroom.  The gala was a huge success with nearly 100 people in attendance.  The dance floor was rockin' and rollin' all night.  Take a peek at the fun we had! Now it's February 2021, one year since the virus came into our lives.

We are continuing our ZOOM meetings and have had wonderful presentations. Our VP of Programs is planning many more informative speakers and I encourage all to participate. Take a brief ZOOM tutorial and you will see how user friendly ZOOM is.

Happy New Year Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

We will all be happy to say good-bye to 2020!

While we were able to meet in January, February and March, the rest of the year has looked very different. ZOOM has become the modern day means of communication for the majority of the World.

Warm Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

I would like to take this time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Season's Greetings and most importantly a Happy and Healthy New Year.  

2020 has been a very challenging year.  We all learned new skills, such as mask wearing, social distancing, disinfecting everything, ZOOMING, and the importance of having a supply of toilet paper.  Not being able to hug loved ones has been the hardest for most of us.

Please remember to stay safe during the upcoming Holidays.  It is hardest now when we all want to gather and celebrate.  Staying safe this year will allow you to be here NEXT year.
