Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

The Holidays are here again.  Pumpkins are being carved and our neighborhood children are getting ready to Trick or Treat.  Local stores are filled with Holiday decorations and preparations have begun for Thanksgiving!

Regardless of how you celebrate, have a very Happy Halloween and Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Halloween From The Hospitality Hut,

The Hut has no report this month.  Unfortunately we did not have any guests attend the September meeting.

It is always nice to see old friends and catch up on what we are all doing. It would be a treat to see many more of you come on up to the Aloft in Delray and socialize before the meeting.

I am very happy to report two first-time guests attended the August general meeting.

Jack Richer was certified as an Open Water diver in 2017.  He has logged 45 dives.  Jack was lucky to have logged these dives on four different continents. He enjoys drift diving, sightseeing, wrecks and walls.  Jack's dream dive would be the Great Barrier Reef.

Next, I introduced Curtis Tsang to the members.  Jack was certified in the Philippines and has 11 dives in his log book. He likes to sightsee and enjoys diving on wrecks.  Curtis would like to dive the Great Blue Hole.

Both Jack and Curtis drove from Miami.  They expressed their desire to check us out and see what kind of club we have.

Jeb Zella found us on the Internet.  He was certified in Orlando in 1992 and has logged 500 dives as an Advanced Open Water diver.

Well it's May and waters are hopefully warming up. Local 
diving has a full calendar and I can't wait to sign up for a dive.

Our honorary member, Pat S, attended the April meeting.  No new guests were introduced at the meeting.

Remember to tell divers you meet about our club. Our VP of Social is adding events to the calendar, so keep an eye out for her postings.

It was a slow month for the Hut.  I do not have any guests to report.

The weather has been perfect. The water will soon be warm enough for some of us warm water lovers! Can't wait to DIVE, DIVE, DIVE.

Greetings From The Hospitality Hut,

It's always a pleasure to see a returning face from the past.  That is just what happened at the February meeting of our club.

Former member, John Fisher,  joined us for another wonderful presentation. I remember a dive with John, Glada and several other members on the Starfish Enterprise. John stated he is interested in rejoining the club! As a Master Diver, John was certified in 1999 and has over 1000 dives under his weight belt.  Hopefully he will rejoin soon.
