And the weather for this weekend is:
Saturday, May 5th: East southeast winds 10 to 15 knots along the coast to southeast 15 to 20 knots in the gulf stream. Seas 4 to 6 feet with occasional seas to 8 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet with occasional seas to 5 feet in the afternoon. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas. Showers likely in the morning...then a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
And the bold part is what is predicted for Saturday morning. Seeing as the club has always cut our dives off at the three foot mark (for very good reasons!), I'm sorry to say we're going to have to cancel this weekend. Sorry divers, it's just not worth the risk. For those of you who already gave me a check, you can either request a refund, or just apply the balance to a future local dive. I've put June's schedule out on the website, and I hope you'll join us then!
