Kayaking - Jonathan Dickinson State Park

Hey Divers,

  Let's go have some fun!  I'm inviting you to come kayaking with us at Jonathan Dickinson State Park, located in Hobe Sound.  For those of you renting, go straight to the kayak rental (follow the signs once you're in the park), for those of you bringing your own kayak, follow the signs to the boat ramp, which is just downstream and around the curve from the rental location.  Expect to be in the water and paddling by 9:30 am (for those bringing your own kayak, expect to put in by 9:10 or so to paddle up to the rental place and meet any renters), where we'll head upstream, watching for Osprey, Manatees, and all manner of wild life.  We'll stop at the trader station for lunch/snacks, then head back.  

What to bring:  Lunch, Water bottle, Sunscreen, Clothes to get wet in, Towel and a change of clothing for after, dry bag for anything you don't want to get wet.  This is an open event, so feel free to bring family and friends! You are responsible for your own expenses (small parking fee, any kayak rental).
