spots might be available - on request...

"You’ll experience startling visibility, warm water and the most amazing walls you can imagine. It’s also one of the best places in the world to dive with sharks

Before diving, a thorough site briefing is provided, revealing that the water depth under the boat is approximately forty feet, with the vessel positioned close to the edge of an impressive wall. Along the edge of this drop-off, divers will find a multitude of large coral heads, creating a captivating underwater landscape that varies in depth from forty to sixty feet before dramatically plunging to a depth of 100feet.

To make the most of the dives, it’s recommended to explore a substantial 200-foot section in each direction along the wall, providing ample opportunities to encounter the diverse marine life and witness the stunning underwater topography. For the return swim, divers are advised to venture 100 feet in from the wall, further immersing themselves in the breathtaking surroundings. The depths of 60 to 100 feet along the wall face offer a particularly enchanting display of nature, boasting beautiful elephant ear sponges and a plethora of sponge and coral encrustations, creating an immersive and unforgettable dive experience.Divers often choose to visit Runway 10 as either their second or night dive, maximizing their underwater adventures during the day. With its captivating marine life, stunning coral formations, and occasional appearances of majestic Hammerhead sharks, this dive site promises to be an unforgettable and cherished destination for all diving enthusiasts."

Join us for the best wall diving in the Caribbean!! 100-150 ft. visibility makes for fabulous wide-angle scenery on walls starting at 30 ft with sheer drop offs to ledges around 250 ft and then down to the abyss. Hammerhead sharks, manta rays, lazy turtles and huge friendly Nassau grouper are just some of the creatures noted in my log book from our 2004 visit to this most eastern Bahamian island. This will be our 4th club trip to Riding Rock Inn (prior: 1989, 2004 & 2008) and I would not want to miss Steve McCutcheon’s favorite high intensity destination. We hope there are still hammerheads left – but they could be deeper than allowed on Nitrox.

The island of San Salvador is located 385 miles southeast of here in the Bahamas. It is 12 miles long by 5 miles wide and is the exposed peak of a submerged mountain plunging 15,000 feet to the sea floor. With less than 1000 inhabitants, the white sandy beaches are almost as deserted as the day Christopher Columbus first landed here and discovered the New World. The resort is a laid-back place for serious divers who have plastered the Driftwood Lounge with autographed items. There are bicycles and golf carts available. Fishing excursions can be arranged.

Good buffet meals offer choices of meat and fish cook American and Bahamian style and include coffee, tea, juice. A welcome Rum Punch is the introduction to happy hour at the bar. An island tour to the lighthouse and Columbus monument, can be arranged. We will be traveling on a Bahamas Air charter flight. All rooms are upgraded since our last visit. The rooms all have both Ocean and Pool View; all rooms have A/C, refrigerators, TV and balconies. Just past the large pool and patio area are the docks and dive shop area. Two dives in the morning and 1 after lunch are done on the comfortable 42 ft boats which have nice dive platforms and ladders, good camera storage and plenty of sheltered space plus a sun deck above. The dive staff bring your gear to the boat where it stays all week; they clean it and bring it back to your room at the end of the week. They change tanks for you and offer help with everything. The operation is very experienced and professional and offers all safety equipment including a chamber on the island. All divers must use computers, rentals are available.

Upscale: Golden Rock Nature Resort and Diving

Unsold spots will be released 1st week of May

PS: Nitrox is free (just bring your card)

We are staying at the new and upscale nature resort. Think about this as scuba diving in the morning and a nature resort stay in the afternoon. This is one of the best destinations in years if you are bringing a non-diving companion.

Important: You must buy your own airfare to St Kitts (SKB) – the earlier the better – the signup deposit is kept low to not stress your funds. American Airlines has a flight from MIA

Statia, as the island is popularly called offers divers an unparalleled yet pocket-sized perception. Ancient shipwrecks, pristine coral reefs, and an amazing assortment of fish and turtles.

The entire range of attractions lies between 40 and 130 feet below sea level. Even at this depth, visibility is typically 80 to 100 feet. The constant sea temperature averaging 82 degrees and sunny climate help to make diving in every season especially pleasant. Wearing a thin wetsuit or shorty is generally enough.

Since St Eustatius (Statia) is a tropical island in the Caribbean Sea, it is no surprise that the enticing warm waters provide excellent opportunities for water sports, such as diving, boating, and fishing. In fact, the entire island is surrounded by a marine park, which stretches from water level to 100ft below the surface, all packed with an amazing abundance of aquatic life.

The island is also a haven for nature enthusiasts. It is easy to get around the eight-square-mile land area of St Eustatius, and many people take the opportunity to go hiking when here. The undisturbed interior offers excellent birding, and there are many well-marked paths that are lovingly maintained by the St Eustatius National Parks Foundation. Our hotel is located right in the middle of this

St Eustatius is also a premier spot for hiking, due in part to the 2,000ft dormant volcano, known as the Quill. The Quill is a mountainous rainforest with a volcano summit. The Boven National Park is also famed for its stunning views of nearby St Maarten Island, about 68 miles to the North. The crater of the Quill provides excellent birding opportunities, with rare species such as the Red Necked Pigeon and the Purple Throated Carib (hummingbird) regularly spotted.

This trip will only hold 16 people.

Price is $3,000 which includes the following:

Philippines Aggressor - 2027 (May 07, 2027)

Exotic Trip, May 2027 Philippines:

Aggressor Liveaboard: Tubbataha Reef

May 08-15, 2027 – 7 nights

This is the most pristine destination in the Philippines – seasonal – only available a few months each year. Tubbataha sits in the Sulu Sea and is in the middle of the Coral Triangle between Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. The Tubbataha Reefs National Parks is an UNESCO World Heritage site. The atolls are made up of the North Atoll, South Atoll and the Jessie Beazley Reef to the northwest of the main atolls and are all part of the park

This is the same boat (and mostly also the same crew as 2025). I am currently holding 16 spots on this boat (out of 24) – all the best rooms (a lower deck room, less $200, might be available on request). Please sign up early – otherwise I will have to release unsold rooms. Airfare on most major carriers will be available for purchase in June. Lately, airfare availability and cost have become the most limiting factors in our travel program. Please be prepared to lock in the best possible airfare in June/July

We start and end in Puerto Princessa (PPS). Flights from Manilla. You can get to Manilla on major US carriers or from Hong Kong, Singapore or Seoul. It is essential to arrive in Puerto Princessa a day early.

Sample Itinerary – weather permitting:

Northern Tip of North Atoll: The northern tip of the North atoll is an area with high diversity of shark species such as blacktips, white tips, grey reef sharks, silky sharks in addition to turtles, rays and whale sharks. The walls have beautiful soft corals, barrel sponges and lots of cleaning stations.

Southern Tip of North Atoll: In this area lies a shipwreck dive site, Malayan Wreck located on an beautiful wall.
